About
* Date has changed to June 24th *
The vandyke process is a historic photographic process dating back to the mid 1800s. It is an iron-silver process that produces a rich brown tone and uses UV light for exposure. It is a more involved process than cyanotypes yet still a great introduction to alternative photographic processes. This workshop will explore the history + methods of the process, including paper coating, exposure, printing and toning with studio time dedicated to participants creating their own vandykes.
