About
In this 4 class series, learn how to tell compelling stories that will leave your audience thinking about your project long after it's over. We will discuss how to build story ideas, how theme, character, and motifs can craft emotionally resonant stories, and explore how medium, form, and subtext can enhance a story. Out of class, students will analyze the musical Hamilton and write short scripts/stories/anything based on prompts and receive peer feedback in class.
Class is on Thursdays from 6p.m. to 9p.m. Jan 9, 16, 23, 30.
Class will be held in the downstairs Conference Room. Ages 16+. $60 for all four classes. Please email marcadmin@moabcity.gov if you'd like to pay for a $20 drop-in pass.
Instructor Bio: I've been a storyteller since I could put pen to paper. I studied Screenwriting and Filmmaking at Ithaca College. Even though I've pivoted to a career outside, I still love creative writing…
