Artist Statement: Stateme<!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}-->Artistnt: Etching Trails is about being mindful of our impact on the environment: The trails we make and the impressions we leave behind. Christina aims to create art in all moments of life for a better everyday. It's honouring expression, creating feeling through making and learning through expirimentation. It's about lookin at something, with the freshest version of your being. Christina favours a perspective of awe and exaggerates the colourful whimsy of their subject matter. To be caught in the moment, continually sifting ideas through your mind as your eyes meander. As a fresh desert transplant, the flora and fauna have captured attention with their miraculous methods of living through change. Sustainability is fundamental in Christina's work and the Juniper Tree is a perfect steward. Change and sustainability go hand in hand as the juniper pivots is processes to hold onto life. Look up, it's facinating! The more trails ridden, tracks made and paths taken, the more impressions we make. Where have we gone, what have we learned about ourselves, how do our actions affect us and others? It's a grand notion, the impressions we leave behind. Now, what needs to change so we can keep on living?
